World-Class from the Vogelsberg: Stehr Baumaschinen Reaches the Finals of the “Hessen Champions” – Camera Team Filmed in Storndorf Today
Schwalmtal-Storndorf, August 31, 2026 – A great honor for Stehr Baumaschinen GmbH: The medium-sized company from Schwalmtal-Storndorf has reached the final three of the prestigious “Hessen Champions” innovation and growth award. To mark this special occasion, a professional camera team visited the company premises today, Monday, and filmed the official finalist portrait on-site in Storndorf.
Innovations for the Global Market in Focus
A detailed look behind the scenes of the specialized machinery manufacturer was taken to showcase the groundbreaking, partially patented technologies with which Stehr has been setting global standards for years. These include the highly efficient, dust-free soil stabilization system for PEFAS neutralization as well as innovative solutions for fire and disaster protection.
The short film produced today will be presented to a large audience from business and politics at the ceremonial “Hessen Champions” award ceremony on October 28, 2026, at the Day of Hessian Entrepreneurs in Wiesbaden. It also honors the enormous innovative spirit of the Upper Hesse region.

It recognizes companies annually that significantly strengthen the Hessian economy with their products and assume a pioneering role globally.
