The Stehr-Scraper Attachment loosens the material, loads it, transports it and works it in all by itself. The material can even be graded using a laser control mechanism. There's no work stoppage. A 23-ton tracked excavator, for example, needs just under 4 minutes to load a truck having a capacity of 8 m³. Using a high-performance tractor of 240 HP or above, this scraper, with its potential volume of 9 m³, can be filled in about 20 seconds. The material can then be transported to the off-load site at speeds of up to 50 km/h. A hydraulic discharge mechanism pushes the material out in front of the dozer blade, where it is immediately worked into the surface. It only takes about 10 seconds to discharge and finish working the material. Such efficiency eliminates all that unproductive downtime with its related high operator wages and material book costs. The scraper and bucket can also be used as a standard all-terrain transport trailer (that requires no vehicle-operating authorization), which you can fill using excavators or loaders.
Convential work procedures result in outlays of € 300 an hour (1 excavator, 2 trucks and 1 grader). Some 600 KW of energy or about 25 liters of diesel fuel is also needed at a cost of about € 100. Now you can do the same work in half the time for only about € 80 using the scraper attachment with a tractor. And it only requires about 120 KW of energy or 25 liters of diesel fuel, costing approximately € 23. Tremendous savings with superior performance!!!
