Stehr - Recycler - Mixer Bucket

For adding binding agents, mixing, crushing, sifting and for refining and processing construction waste and rubble. New: 2 breaker blades for smaller size of recycled material.

SR 15 : 1,5 m³ (1.96 yd³) for 21 to (46,000 lbs) and larger excavators.
SR 12 : 1,2 m³ (1.57 yd³) for 17 to (37,000 lbs) and larger excavators.

Applications

The Stehr Recycler is the ideal tool for adding binding agents such as lime or cement, and for sifting and blending loose soil from dumpsites. Any excavated soil that can't be incorporated as construction material can be turned into high-quality and easily compactable backfill right on site. The Stehr Recycler is the only equipment of its kind that can crush medium-sized stones - a function that allows the soil to retain valuable mineral components.

Before: Excavated Soil After Processing: High-Grade Building Material

No more costly landfill fees, transport costs or other expenses when the job calls for replacing soil. Its unique "bucket" construction makes it very easy to scoop mixed materials when mounted on an excavator. The Stehr Recycler is also ideal for crushing and processing glass, wallboard, construction waste and bark mulch, as well as for aerating contaminated ground.

Operation

A rotor equipped with standard interchangeable rounded-shaft chisels turns inside the "bucket" assembly. A pressure-dependent hydraulic variable displacement motor automatically raises the continuous torque level of 4800 Nm at 160 rpm to 12,000 Nm at 82 rpm as needed. Power transmission is made directly to the rotor. Unlike conventional products, a technical solution as well thought out as this one makes sure that the excavator's maximum performance capabilities are put to good use.

Different sizes of interchangeable and highly wear-resistant breaker blades can be mounted tangential to the outside diameter of its rotor. These determine what the recycled material's grain size will be. The housing is constructed near the breaker blades in such a manner that small to medium-sized rocks are crushed between the rotor and breaker blades, while bigger stones are deflected into the area above the blades. These larger stones remain in the bucket during the mixing and sifting process and are dumped out separately before new material is added.
