Stehr - Compaction Wheel SVR

The Stehr compaction wheel is your problem solver for a wide variety of compaction jobs.

The Stehr compaction wheel helps you meet or exceed today's demands for constantly better compaction results and less time on the job. Because this compaction wheel is a purely mechanical tool, it requires neither special hydraulic connections nor a separate drive system. It can be attached using quick-coupler devices or directly onto excavators, wheeled loaders, tractors, crawlers and any number of other machines.

HOW IT WORKS
Using the weight of the carrier vehicle, together with the action and properties of the boom and stick, Stehr compaction wheels produce high compaction forces. Problem areas like those encountered in trench and canalization projects, surrounding or along the bottom of pipes and when backfilling along embankments can be easily compacted using this wheel. This is because the wheel produces an extremely high degree of static compaction, which means you can compact large amounts of heap even in highly cohesive soils.

The Stehr compaction wheel delivers tremendous compaction performance, which translates into more cubic meters compacted with better compaction quality for less money.

ADVANTAGES OF USNG THE Stehr COMPACTION WHEEL

Its high point pressure per square centimeter produces the quality of compaction you want in the most diverse soil types and conditions. Unlike vibrating rollers, no water is pushed through soil capillaries to the surface during compaction. This is the only method that ensures moisture is distributed uniformly, while delivering consistent and even compaction.

A safer work environment that lets you keep your crews out of the ditch during compaction operations. Optimal compaction of typical problem areas along the sides and bottom of underground pipes.

Stehr compaction wheel - can reach COMPACTION DEPTHS of up to 1200 mm (depending on soil type and moisture)

Ground Pressure (per cm):

Static weight of prime wover plus wheel multiplied by (0,60) and divided by cm² of compaction surface
Examples:
Loader/Backhoe Weight:

8165 kg

Stehr SVR 40 Weight:

500 kg

Active Weight:

8665 kg x 0,60 = 5199 kg

Excavator Weight:

21000 kg

Stehr SVR 60 Weight:

600 kg

Active Weight:

21600 kg x 0,60 = 12960 kg
