Stehr - Push-Off Trailer SAW
This trailer’s low center of gravity provides significantly better stability out in the field than a dump truck. Now the material no longer gets stuck in the trough, but is discharged completely instead. Its overall height of less than 3190 mm even lets you unload it within low buildings. Special attention was given during the design phase to the fact that it will be mostly used in harsh construction conditions away from public roads and highways. This is why a low net weight is not as important as the ability to haul a large payload.
Its remarkably sturdy construction allows a working load of approximately 22 tons, not to mention a 32-ton axle assembly. The push plate is guided by ball-bearing-mounted steel rollers in a precision U-shaped frame like the rails used on forklifts, and moved by a 30-ton double-action telescopic cylinder. The trough-like design with the exterior dimensions of 3450 x 2240 x 1260 mm can hold more than 12 m³ of material. The floor and side walls are made of 8 mm Hardox 400.
