Stehr - Pipe Trench Compactor

The Stehr pipe trench compactor was engineered to handle those tough compaction challenges often encountered in canalization projects and to meet the standards set forth by German canal and wastewater industry associations, such as the Güteschutz Kanalbau quality assurance organization. This equipment replaces hard manual labor with easy, hand-operated compaction devices in problem areas like those hard-to-reach spaces along the lower half of embedded pipes. Never before has there been a compactor attachment for excavators that allows you to set the compaction force and thereby eliminate any chance of damaging the pipe. Gone are the days when equipment operators had to simply estimate how much pressure the excavator arm needed to apply to the compactor. This new Stehr invention redefines the state of the art. All you do is simply position this add-on compactor onto the area to be compacted. Activating the hydraulic circuit for the exciter gear causes a hydraulic cylinder to exert a previously set, consistent pressure on the plate compactor, without the equipment operator having to guide it.

And, a hydraulic rotating motor lets you put the compactor anywhere you need it.
